Public Aid Organization –PAO; is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit and public utility organization. It works according to its humanitarian values in order to improve and settle the principles of human rights, establishing a developed civil society. This will be done by carrying out the developing and permanent programs and projects as it is guided by the United Nations’ declaration concerning the third millennium. PAO established in 1992 well rooted and present with offices in all Iraq.                             

Program Manager

Public Aid Organization is looking for a program manager. The program manager will be in charge of social cohesion and livelihood intervention in Ninawa.



-  Support the implementation of all activities under the social cohesion and livelihoods portfolio.

- Facilitate providing required information to the team or the beneficiaries.

-Write daily reports/ Weekly and monthly reports regarding the implementation of the project.

-Reporting all field visits and activities.

- Reporting the monthly/ weekly plan.

-Conduct training with Community Representation Groups, and work with them regularly to build capacity and collects information from other INGOs and other humanitarian and development.

-Support program staff in organizing and managing seminars, workshops, press conferences and field visits as required.

-Ensure appropriate selection of project beneficiaries by conducting interviews, registering, and profiling applicants using specific criteria.


-Ensure that all distributions of tools and equipment are monitored for both quality and quantity and that relationship management with vendors is maintained in project locations.


Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Required Qualifications and Experience

-University degree in social sciences, or equivalent combination of relevant training and practical experience;

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in social projects and livelihood sectors.

- Must be flexible with initiative and a team work spirit.

- Must have experience working in fast pace and dynamic environment.

-Communication skills with Authorities and Community Leaders.

-Ability to organize and run educational workshops for beneficiaries. 


Excellent command of English and Arabic are required;

Any other language is an asset.
